Getting to Tirindrish Steading.
From
the A9 – Perth – Edinburgh
Turn off the A9 at Dalwhinnie onto the A889. Follow this
road to the T junction just beyond the Monadliath Hotel.
Turn left onto the A86 to Spean Bridge and Fort William.
Follow the road past beautiful Loch Laggan and Ardverkie
seat of the celebrated “Monarch of the Glen”
TV program.
Finally
you head through the village of Roy Bridge. About two
miles beyond Roy Bridge you are driving through trees
on either side and a field opens up to your right, the
white Tirindrish Steading comes into view and you indicate
to the right. You turn up the drive at the “Tirindrish
Steading” sign. There is a low white cottage near
the road side on the left. Tirindrish House and then Spean
Bridge village are too far.
From the A82 – Fort
William – Glasgow
Through
Fort William and turn right onto the A86 over the Bridge
in Spean Bridge. Keep stright, past all of the houses.
At the corner indicate left turn left at the entrance
after the “Tirindrish House” entrance, at
the “Tirindrish Steading sign”. The turn is
exactly 0.7 of a mile beyond the Spean Bridge exit sign.
There is a wee white cottage to the right opposite the
entrance to the drive.
