I love the house! At breakfast, lunch and tea I really like the scene we have. I also walked up Ben Nevis. I was named after the isle of Skye.

A great, comfortable, well-equiped base for our range of activities. The airing cupboard made an excellent den for the 2 and 5 years old, but they were joined by their 11 + 13 year old cousins at times!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We don’t want to leave! We enjoyed the cottage – very cosy. The Highlands are beautiful – we have travelled all over the area and to Iona and Skye. The Scots are so welcoming and friendly. We will miss this area and we are hoping to come back. The kids really enjoyed the house and all the DVDs and also the SHEEP! We enjoyed learning all about the history of thearea.
Ps Even tho we Know the movie “Braveheart” is NOT historically accurate, we enjoyed watching it 3 times!

We’ve enjoyed our stay at Tirindrish Steading, a really nice place to be. With almost Mediterranean temperatures we nearly forgot that we were in Scotland. Fortunately, we had the wonderful surrounding Highlands’ scenery, the Highland games at Arisaig, a visit to Glenfinnan and Loch Ness with the wonderful castle Urquhart, the various walks to the “Big Ben” and a marvellous trainit rip to Mallaig, the tast of the “Dew of Ben Nevis”. We like the country and its people. Many thanks

The family have had a fab holiday here at the Steading. Great freedom for the children and the house is very warm and comfortable with everything you need at hand. Tirindrish is a great base for exploring the Highlands.
Look forward to visiting the house again very soon.

New Year 2005 - 2006
“We all had a great time…a cocktail party, a poker evening, games beside the fantastic wood burning stove, lots of relaxation. Quite a few people walked up at the back of the house where the views were spectacular. One of my favourite pursuits is looking at the stars and all I can say is they were amazing from the outside of Tirindrish Steading. We had a great time and the accommodation was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the living room with the wood burning stove and the large windows and the mezzanine. The master bedroom was lovely. The kitchen was a great space and yeah we cooked a lot! The dining conservatory was also fantastic! We all loved the views and all the little touches in the place.”

Beautiful location and very comfortable base to share with family and friends. Had a wonderful time if somewhat wet at times ! Breathtaking autumnal scenery made u for the damp weather with days drawn to a close by the fire with a wee dram. We’ll be back. Will miss the view – everyone loved it all.

Just wanted to say thank-you from myself and the group. The accommodation was excellent. We really found the cottage so likable, especially the dining room which we used most of the time, the view was lovely. The design and the amenities are excellent and you should feel very roud of such an achievement. Perhaps one day I shall return, if so I will be in contact.
Thanking you - Barbara Mullins

A truly wonderful holiday in every respect. Tirindrish Steading provided everything that one could ask for on holiday - warmth, comfort, space (lots of it) and above all, breathtaking views. "A home with a view". A lot of thought must have gone into this venture - we particularly liked the little thoughtful touches - the collection of books, the piano, the candles and everything to really get is started in the kitchen. felt like "home away from home". We would love to come here again.
